Overview
The Pass is your production checklist for baking day. It pulls from your confirmed orders and shows you exactly what needs to be made, so nothing gets missed. What The Pass Does
The Pass takes all your confirmed orders and turns them into a clear, actionable checklist. Instead of flipping between individual orders to figure out what to bake, The Pass gathers everything into one view. Each item on The Pass shows:- The product name and quantity
- Which order it belongs to
- The fulfillment date
- Any relevant client notes or allergy flags
Viewing Today’s Production
- Tap The Pass in your main navigation.
- Select the date you want to view. The current day loads by default.
- Review the list of items that need to be produced.
Organizing Your View
The Pass offers two ways to view your production list: By product — Groups all orders for the same product together. If three customers each ordered a dozen chocolate chip cookies, you see “3 dozen chocolate chip cookies” in one line. This is ideal for batch baking. By order — Shows each customer’s order as a separate group. This helps when you need to pack orders individually or when customization varies between clients.- Tap the view toggle at the top of The Pass.
- Choose By Product or By Order.
Good to know: Switching views does not affect your check-off progress. Items you marked as done stay marked.
Checking Off Items
As you finish baking each item, mark it as complete.- Tap the checkbox next to any item.
- The item moves to the “Done” section at the bottom of the list.
- Repeat until every item is checked off.
Seeing What Needs Attention
Items with allergy flags or special client notes are highlighted on The Pass. This ensures you account for dietary restrictions before you start a batch. If a client has a nut allergy noted in their profile, that flag appears next to every item in their order. You never have to look it up separately.Tips for a Smooth Baking Day
- Review The Pass the night before and cross-reference with The Pantry to confirm you have all ingredients.
- Use the “By Product” view to plan your batch order — start with items that need the longest bake or chill time.
- Check off items as you go, not all at once at the end. This keeps your progress accurate if you step away.
