Overview
Your client list is a single place to see everyone who has ordered from you. Knead builds it automatically as orders come in, so you spend less time on data entry and more time baking.Finding Your Client List
- Tap Clients in the main navigation.
- Your full client list loads, showing all customers sorted by most recent order.
What Information Is Stored
Each client profile includes:- Name — First and last name.
- Email — Used for invoices, receipts, and notifications.
- Phone number — Optional, for delivery coordination or quick questions.
- Order history — Every order the client has placed, with dates and totals.
- Notes — Free-text notes you add (preferences, allergy info, feedback).
- Total spent — A running total of what the client has spent with you.
How Clients Are Added
Clients are added to your list automatically when they place an order through The Board. You do not need to create client profiles manually before someone orders. Here is what happens:- A customer submits an order through The Board.
- Knead creates a client profile using the name and email from the order.
- The client appears in your client list immediately.
Good to know: You can also add a client manually. Tap the Add Client button on the client list and fill in their details. This is useful for customers who contact you outside The Board.
Searching and Filtering
When your client list grows, use search and filters to find who you need.- Tap the Search bar at the top of the client list.
- Type a name, email, or phone number.
- Results filter as you type.
Viewing a Client’s Order History
To see everything a client has ordered:- Tap the client’s name in your client list.
- Their profile opens with order history displayed.
- Each order shows the date, items, status, and total.
Keeping Your Client List Clean
Duplicate profiles can happen if a customer uses different email addresses. If you spot duplicates:- Open both client profiles and confirm they are the same person.
- Keep the profile with the most complete information.
- Transfer any useful notes from the duplicate to the primary profile.
