Overview

The Sweet Spot is your calendar and capacity planner. It shows every committed order alongside how much room you have left, so you always know what your week looks like before saying yes to anything new.

Opening The Sweet Spot

  1. Tap The Sweet Spot in the main navigation.
  2. You land on the current week by default.
The view loads with today highlighted so you can orient yourself quickly. Use the arrow buttons at the top of the calendar to move forward or backward by one week. Tap any individual day to expand it and see the full list of orders for that date. To jump back to the current week, tap Today.
Pro tip: Start each morning by opening The Sweet Spot to today’s date. It gives you a clear picture of what needs to happen before you start baking.

Reading the Capacity Indicators

Each day on the calendar shows a capacity bar. This bar represents how much of your available production time is spoken for.
  • Green means you have plenty of room.
  • Yellow means the day is filling up.
  • Red means you are at or near full capacity.
The bar fills based on the estimated production time of accepted orders compared to the production hours you have set for that day. If you have not set production hours yet, the capacity bar will not appear.

How Orders Appear on the Calendar

Orders show up on their fulfillment date, not the date they were placed. Each order tile displays the customer name, product summary, and order status. Color-coded status badges help you distinguish between confirmed orders, pending enquiries, and completed deliveries at a glance. Tap any order tile to open the full order detail.
Good to know: Only orders with a fulfillment date appear on The Sweet Spot. Draft orders or enquiries without a confirmed date will not show up here.

Using The Sweet Spot for Daily Planning

The Sweet Spot is most powerful when you use it as a daily planning tool. Here is a quick routine:
  1. Open The Sweet Spot and tap today’s date.
  2. Review every order scheduled for today. Confirm the products, quantities, and pickup or delivery times.
  3. Check the capacity bar. If it is green, you have breathing room. If it is yellow or red, plan your time carefully and consider whether you can realistically fit in any last-minute requests.
  4. Glance at tomorrow and the next few days. Knowing what is coming helps you prep ingredients and manage your energy.
The Sweet Spot pairs well with The Pass. Once you have reviewed your schedule, open The Pass to see your production checklist for the day.
