Overview
If you offer pickup, add your locations to Knead so customers always know where to go. Pickup details appear in notification emails, delivery reminders, and order creation — no need to repeat yourself.Where to Manage Pickup Locations
- Tap Settings in the main navigation.
- Tap Delivery.
- Scroll to the Pickup Locations section.
Adding a Pickup Location
- Tap Add Location.
- Enter the name — something clear and recognizable (for example, “Home Kitchen,” “Farmer’s Market Booth,” or “Downtown Pickup Spot”).
- Enter the address — the full street address where customers should go.
- Add any instructions — gate codes, parking tips, or “text when you arrive” notes.
- Save.
Setting a Default Location
If most of your pickups happen at one spot, set it as your default:- Find the location in your list.
- Tap the three-dot menu next to it.
- Tap Set as Default.
Where Pickup Locations Appear
Your saved locations show up in three places:Ready-for-Pickup Emails
When you mark an order as ready for pickup, the customer receives an email with the pickup location name, address, and your instructions.Delivery Reminder Emails
Automated reminders before the pickup date include the location details so customers know exactly where to go.Order Creation
When you create an order and select Pickup as the delivery type, your saved locations appear in a dropdown. Select the right one and the details are attached to the order.Editing or Removing a Location
- Go to Settings then Delivery.
- Tap the location you want to update.
- Edit the name, address, or instructions — or tap Delete to remove it.
- Save.
Good to know: Deleting a location does not affect existing orders. Orders that already reference that location keep the address that was saved at the time.
