Overview

Tags let you categorize clients beyond what allergens and notes cover. They are short labels you create and assign freely, giving you a fast way to organize, filter, and find groups of customers.

Adding a Tag to a Client

  1. Tap Clients in the main navigation.
  2. Tap the client’s name to open their profile.
  3. Find the Tags section.
  4. Type a tag name (for example, “wholesale” or “wedding”).
  5. Tap Add or press Enter.
  6. The tag appears on the client’s profile immediately.
You can add as many tags as you need to a single client.

Removing a Tag

  1. Open the client’s profile.
  2. Find the tag you want to remove in the Tags section.
  3. Tap the x on the tag.
The tag is removed from that client. If other clients use the same tag, their tags are not affected.

Tag Ideas

Tags work best when they reflect how you think about your customers. Here are some examples:
  • wholesale — Clients who buy in bulk or resell your products.
  • wedding — Customers ordering for weddings or bridal events.
  • repeat — Loyal customers who order regularly.
  • farmer’s market — People you met at a market who later ordered online.
  • corporate — Businesses placing office or event orders.
  • local — Customers in your delivery radius.
  • holiday — Clients who order around specific holidays.
You can use any label that helps you stay organized. Tags are for your eyes only — customers do not see them.
Good to know: Tags are separate from allergy tracking. Allergies have their own dedicated section on the client profile so they get the visibility they need. Use tags for business categories, not dietary information.

Filtering by Tag

Tags become especially useful when you need to find a specific group of clients.
  1. Open the Clients list.
  2. Tap the Filter option.
  3. Select one or more tags to filter by.
  4. The list updates to show only clients with the selected tags.
This is handy for targeted outreach. Need to message all your wholesale accounts about holiday order deadlines? Filter by “wholesale” and work through the list.
Pro tip: Keep your tag names consistent. “Wholesale” and “wholesale” are the same, but “wholesale” and “whole-sale” are not. Pick a naming convention and stick with it so filtering works reliably.
