Overview

Your subscription settings let you manage your Knead plan, update payment details, and review billing history. Everything is accessible from your account settings.

Finding Subscription Settings

  1. Tap your profile or settings icon.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Subscription or Billing.
This is your hub for everything related to your plan and payments.

Viewing Your Current Plan

Your subscription settings show:
  • Current plan — Which tier you are on.
  • Billing cycle — Monthly or annual.
  • Next billing date — When your next payment is due.
  • Price — How much you pay per cycle.

Changing Your Plan

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Tap Change Plan.
  3. Select the plan you want to switch to.
  4. Confirm the change.
Upgrades take effect immediately. You get access to the new features right away. The price difference is prorated for the rest of your current billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep access to your current features until then.
Good to know: Downgrading does not delete any of your data. Your orders, clients, recipes, and settings are all preserved. Features from the higher tier become read-only or unavailable depending on the plan.

Updating Your Payment Method

If your card expires or you want to use a different payment method:
  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Find the Payment Method section.
  3. Tap Update Payment Method.
  4. Enter your new card details.
  5. Save.
The new payment method is used for your next billing cycle and all future charges.
Pro tip: Update your payment method before your card expires. This prevents any interruption to your subscription.

Viewing Billing History

You can review past invoices and payments.
  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Scroll to the Billing History section.
  3. View past charges with dates and amounts.
Each entry shows the date, amount, plan name, and payment status. You can use this for your own bookkeeping or tax records.

Switching Between Monthly and Annual Billing

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Tap Change Plan or Change Billing Cycle (depending on how the option is presented).
  3. Select your preferred billing frequency.
  4. Confirm the change.
Switching from monthly to annual locks in the discounted annual rate. The change takes effect at your next renewal. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect when your current annual period ends.

Cancelling Your Subscription

If you need to cancel:
  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Tap Cancel Subscription.
  3. Confirm your cancellation.
Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to a limited free state. Your data is not deleted — you can reactivate at any time by choosing a new plan.

Receipts and Tax Documentation

For each payment, Knead generates a receipt. You can access receipts from your billing history. These include:
  • Date of payment
  • Amount charged
  • Payment method (last four digits)
  • Plan description
Save these for your business expense records.
